“ So there we were, in Downtown Florence and hungry for lunch when we spied the Florence Cafe right on the main drag on the way out of town. It was 11:30 so we had the usual dilemma:did we want breakfast or lunch? Lunch won out, and I ordered the Chicken fried steak with brown gravy, French fries, and fried okra! Linda had a crispy chicken salad thst was excellent, and plenty to eat. My chicken fried steak was HUGE (haven't had one that big since Crossroads Grill in Parker... A story for another time). Everything was excellent, and the service was great. On 12b30 Ona Friday, the joint was really hoppin' anddincevitcsermedvlike everyone knew everyone else, it was a bit on the loud side, but that was perfectly fine. If you find yourself hungry in Florence, AZ, THE Florence Cafe may be just the thing. ”

So many regular ol' folks in there, I'm afraid they'll give someone a heart attack with how much sweet butter they add to their toast. As an outsider and a person of color, service and ambiance was ok. Definitely got a few side eyes from the regulars and one of the servers, but it's to be expected in AZ. ”
